It's the day YOU have been waiting for!! All the hours spent dreaming, planning, and bringing to life your special day will pay off. Our job is to make sure that day goes smoothly and is everything you and your spouse have ever dreamed of! Here are a few key tips for making your wedding day memorable.
Personalize Details. One of the best ways to make a wedding enjoyable for you, family, and friends is to add personal details everywhere. Some ideas to do this is to incorporate your dog, like walking him down the aisle or imprint him on your napkin or even name a fun cocktail drink after him. Speaking of cocktails…. Come up with several sentimental names for your bar list, like the city you met your spouse, and so on.
A great step further is to have fun facts on a placemat, napkin, or brochure about you and your significant others' dating life--make it fun by turning it into a game.
Activities for Adults and Kids. This is a chance for you to be creative while bringing enjoyment to your guests. Besides your typical dance floor, book other activities. Some ideas would be:
* a white bouncy house
* an illustrator to paint the ceremony or caricature of the guests
* lawn games like ring toss, giant dice, connect four, jenga, corn hole
* Wheel of Fun a creative way to interact with all guests. Designing a spinning wheel with options such as "Pick a Couple to Kiss," "Show Us Your Best Dance Moves," and the classic "Bride & Groom Kiss."
-Trivia having guests answer questions about the special couple for a prize
The list goes on and on, but adding activities for all ages can make your wedding much more enjoyable for everyone.
Provide a Photo Opportunity. There are several ways to capture this night for you and your guests! Have a photo booth with any desired theme for guests to take selfies and group shots. Props like big glasses, mustaches, and silly faces for a fun theme, or keep it sophisticated with flowers, lights, frames with your wedding date, and more for elegant photos. You can also add a backdrop for your guests to take pictures in front of. For instance cute neon signs, florals, patterns and so on to go with your theme.
Another photo opportunity is POLAROID CAMERAS. Plant them around your venue and let guests take polaroids for you and themselves to take home. You can even order a custom film with your name, wedding date, or pattern you love.
The last idea and certainly a favorite is to jump into the return of an old trend, DISPOSABLE CAMERAS. Order plenty and have your guests take photos of the night. After a few weeks, you can get them developed and see what crazy, fun, sweet moments your guest got to capture.
Present Your Cake In a Special Way. It is said that one of the most photographed items at your wedding is the CAKE. Not only do we need to make sure it tastes fantastic, but it needs to look amazing too. It is not just dessert but a part of your decor. You can go the extra mile with your wedding cake by picking colors to go with your theme, ordering a personal wedding topper (your dog, the couple, wedding date), decorations, and finally displaying it beautifully with greenery, flowers, or a backdrop to highlight your theme. ENJOY the first bite of your wedding cake! This is a special moment for you and your spouse!
